This internal VROC adapter converts a PCIE5.0 PCI-Express 8x connection to MCIO 8i Mini Cool Edge IO (SFF-TA-1016) for use with mainboard SSDs and graphics cards. It installs inside the system through the MCIO interface and connects to a single detachable PCI-Express 8x channel on the motherboard — only supports motherboards with detachable PCI-E channels. The adapter can manage two disks when the motherboard provides a PCIe signal split; if the motherboard lacks that split it will recognize only one disk. Multiple built-in high-power DC modules provide sustained, stable operation. Built for SSDs that use MICO 8x connectors, it delivers high-speed data transfer up to 24 Gbps.
