Adapter converts a PCIE5.0 PCI-Express 16x slot into Dual MCIO 8i Mini Cool Edge IO (SFF-TA-1016) channels and supports VROC Virtual RAID. It accepts one detachable, PCIE PCI-Express 8x connection and the converter is installed internally via the MCIO interface. Only motherboards with detachable PCI-E channels are supported. The card manages the operation of two disks depending on the motherboard PCIE channel; if the motherboard lacks a PCIE signal split it will recognize only one disk. For reliable continuous operation the unit includes built-in multiple sets of high-power DC modules. Designed for high-speed transfers with SSDs that use MICO 8x connectors, the adapter supports data rates of up to 24 Gbps.
