Jonathan Green 11357 Mag-I-Cal Plus Soil Food for Lawns in Alkaline & Hard Soils - Soil Amendment for Grass 15,000 Sq. Ft.

LOWERS SOIL PH - Lawns thrive in soil with pH levels between 6.2 and 7.0. If soil pH is above this range grass becomes light green, weeds persist, and fertilizer nutrients aren't fully absorbed. Mag-I-Cal Plus rapidly and efficiently lowers soil pH. LOOSENS HARD SOILS - Mag-I-Cal Plus helps break up clay and compacted soils.

This improves root penetration and promotes growth by increasing biological activity and releasing nutrients trapped in the soil. ENCOURAGES NUTRIENT ABSORPTION - Mag-I-Cal Plus increases the ability of your grass to utilize nutrients in the soil. Lawn fertilizer is wasted when soil pH is not balanced. When the soil chemistry is balanced, the nutrients are able to be absorbed.

CONTAINS SULFUR & CALCIUM - Sulfur and calcium sulfate dihydrate are vital to many grass plant functions. They're readily available in Mag-I-Cal for plant uptake or pH adjustment. COMPLETE COVERAGE - This 54 lb bag covers up to 15,000 sq. ft and can be used in spring, summer, or fall.
