The JL Audio XDM500/3 merges the best elements of JL Audio's M Series marine amps with the advanced electronics of the XD Series car amps. Constructed with marine-grade materials and a selectable dual-mode power input filter, it provides reliable, noise-free operation in both marine and automotive electrical environments. The amp uses JL Audio's NexD™ ultra-high-speed and efficient amplifier technology to deliver punch and clarity without overtaxing your vehicle's electrical system. Flexible power options to suit many system layouts. In standard 3-channel operation the XDM500/3 supplies 75 watts RMS to each of two speakers while powering a subwoofer with up to 300 watts RMS. If you prefer 2-channel mode, the amp can drive a single high-performance speaker with 200 watts RMS and continue to provide 300 watts RMS to a dedicated subwoofer. Designed for easy integration. Differential-balanced inputs help reject external noise and make the amp compatible with a wide range of source units, including many factory radios. Speaker-level inputs include two auto turn-on modes for seamless connection to factory systems. An optional wired remote allows convenient volume adjustment from the driver's seat, and it can be configured to control the entire system or only the bass channel.
