M3 Standard Flange 6.5-inch Marine Coaxial System (60 W, 4 Ω) - Gloss White Sport Grille with RGB LED Illumination. Built for true marine use, the M3 coaxial line delivers high-quality sound at a more accessible price than JL Audio’s top-tier M6 range. The M3-650X follows the common marine 6.5-inch (165 mm) speaker footprint and includes a wide mounting flange with a six-hole mounting pattern for secure installation. A long-excursion woofer provides strong low-end performance and robust power handling so music remains clear whether underway or at anchor. The woofer is optimized to work with a generous enclosure volume — at least 2 cu. ft. / 57 l — and placing the speaker in a smaller space will reduce its low-frequency output. High frequencies are handled by a 0.75-inch pure silk dome tweeter that has been treated for marine durability; silk was selected for its light weight, excellent damping and smooth response. The Sport Grille integrates an internal RGB LED lighting assembly into its frame to evenly light the cone area and add visual flair. An optional RGB controller lets you select from thousands of color combinations. Although these coaxials will operate with as little as 20 W per channel, optimal performance is achieved with amplifiers delivering 75–100 W of continuous power per channel. Sold as a pair.
