Its 3 Stage Cleaning system uses Dual Multi-Surface brushes for carpets and hard floors, plus an Edge-Sweeping brush for corners and edges. The Auto-Adjust Cleaning Head changes height between floor types. Sensors guide it under and around furniture and along edges; Cliff Detect helps prevent falls down stairs, while Dirt Detect prompts more thorough cleaning in dirtier spots.

It runs for up to 90 minutes before docking to recharge. The bundle includes the vacuum, Home Base charging station, North American line cord, 1 extra High-Efficiency Filter and 1 Dual Mode Virtual Wall Barrier, which keeps it out of selected areas. The barrier includes 2 AA batteries and is listed as a $60 value.
