Setup requires no tools, and the pool is ready for water in 10 minutes. Allow 144 square feet of space. The pool is made of puncture-resistant 3-ply PVC plastic and weighs 18.9 pounds. Its drain plug accepts a garden hose so water can be directed away from the pool. A filter pump and ladder are sold separately. The PVC cover fits a 10-foot Intex Easy Set pool and measures 10 x 10 feet. It has drain holes, a 12-inch overhang and a rope tie. It floats on the water, keeps out leaves and debris, and retains heat; it can also serve as a thermal blanket for a heated pool. Covering the pool reduces evaporation by 95 percent and may save up to 50 percent on pool chemicals. The cover weighs 5.14 pounds and comes with a reusable storage bag. The manufacturer warranty is 30 days. Check HOA rules and housing restrictions before purchase, as some do not permit private above-ground pools. Storing the pool during the off-season can extend its life.
