Both models employ Kappa edge-driven silk dome tweeters with oversized voice coils, producing silky highs, impressive thermal power handling and 40kHz high resolution. Midbass and low-frequency duties are handled by Infinity’s glass fiber woofer cones, which are lighter and stiffer with more cone-area than the competition, resulting in increased low-frequency output and higher efficiency. The angled tweeter includes a push-button attenuation switch that provides tweeter output level control of 0dB or -3dB to help optimize system linearity depending on installation location.
