The ideal. 2445 deskside paper shredder is a White Cross-Cut Shredders model IDEDSH0066HW, SKU sku-472435862, with Cross Cut P4 Security. Designed for 3-4 office users, it is TAA compliant and runs continuously. It shreds 11-13 sheets at a time, with a throughput of 119 sheets per minute, and accepts staples, paper clips and credit cards.

Its 9-gallon impact-resistant plastic bin works with or without disposable bags. Regular manual oiling helps it shred smoothly, quickly and quietly. The P-4 security level is HIPAA and FACTA compliant and federally accepted for protecting information against identity theft. Made in Germany, it has a sustainably sourced wooden cabinet.

A safety shield protects fingers and hands, shredding stops when the cabinet opens, and a photo cell starts and stops shredding automatically. The control element uses optical signals.
