unknown Clear 2 gal Epoxy sku-17872872993 UPC 610406113985

unknown ICE-THIN Flood Coat Crystal Epoxy is a Clear, 2 gal product in Sealants, Fillers and Adhesives. SKU: sku-17872872993; UPC: 610406113985. The 2 gal kit contains 2 x 1 gal units of a two-component epoxy mixed at a 1A:1B ratio. It is used for top coats and light casts from 1/16 inch (1.6 mm) to 1 inch (2.5 cm); the casting guidance specifies less than 1 inch.

It has high viscosity, good flow and air release, strong adhesion, a short gel time and fast curing. The clear, high-gloss finish magnifies the appearance of objects and is intended for art and hobby work. The formula is 100% solids, has low VOC content and odour, and resists bacteria and moisture. It contains a UV absorber to limit yellowing, but UV discoloration is not warranted.

The supplier says it will not distort with age. Once dry, the epoxy is an inflexible, inert plastic. Wood and other materials can change shape with humidity and temperature, potentially separating from or damaging the epoxy. Damage or alteration to the finished work and adhesion to wood are not warranted.

Woodworkers should secure their work, keep wood humidity below 10%, and advise customers on care. Technical and safety data sheets for parts A and B are listed for download.
