Each post ranges between 4.7 and 7.5 pounds and is finished by polishing, sanding and precision cutting for a refined channel that secures panels firmly. Installation details: Designed for straightforward installation — insert the post into the column; no in-floor recessing required. Recommended post spacing is 48 inches. The spigot slot sits 2 inches above the floor. Recesses accept panel thicknesses from 3/10" to 1/2". Note: this product is the topless version and does not include a handrail. Compatibility & applications: Suitable for indoor and outdoor use — ideal for deck balusters, balcony railings, stair railings, porch and pool railings, lofts and hallways. The slotted steel spigot and channel hold glass or panel infill securely while preserving an open, unobstructed sightline.
