The HPE Aruba AP-505 (US) is an in-ceiling access point designed for campus deployments, delivering Wi‑Fi 6 performance across 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz bands with integrated Bluetooth and Zigbee support. It is Wi‑Fi CERTIFIED 6 and supports a broad set of wired and wireless standards: IEEE 802.11a, 802.11b, 802.11g, 802.11n, 802.11ac and 802.11ax, plus Ethernet/PoE standards IEEE 802.3af, 802.3at and energy-efficient 802.3az. Communications capabilities include Bluetooth Low Energy (LE) and Zigbee; the device’s data-link and wireless protocol support covers Bluetooth 5.0 as well as the full suite of IEEE 802.11a/b/g/n/ac/ax specifications. Peak data throughput for the AP-505 is 1.2 Gbps.
