The Black Hoteel G1 Smart Lock is a Smart Security deadbolt with a Full HD camera, doorbell and fingerprint reader in an aluminum body. It supports live video, two-way audio and 6 entry methods: fingerprint, passcode, IC card, mechanical key, the Tuya or Smart Life smartphone app, and voice commands through Alexa or Google Assistant.

It stores up to 100 fingerprints and recognizes them in 0.25 second. Built-in 2.4GHz WiFi needs no gateway or bridge. The apps provide alerts, access logs, temporary codes and remote control; recorded video uses cloud storage. WiFi and Bluetooth pairing follows the video tutorial, and connecting the lock to a home network requires no extra subscription.

Its rechargeable 10,000 mAh lithium battery lasts up to six months under typical use; video monitoring uses more power. A physical key or external emergency charging port provides access if the battery is depleted. The lock is IP65 waterproof, operates from 5°F to 122°F and meets BHMA Grade 3. It installs on standard U.S. doors in about 20 minutes with a screwdriver.

Compatible door thickness is 1.38" to 2.17" (35 to 55mm); backset options are 2.36" (60mm) and 2.76" (70mm). It does not fit mortise locks. The touchscreen combination lock measures 9.3 x 7.1 x 3.8 inches, weighs 3.31 pounds and can be controlled by app, remote, touch or voice. A lithium-ion battery is included and required.
