Constructed from aircraft-grade aluminum for long life and usable on slightly out-of-plumb walls. These French cleat hangers (also called clips, hangers, or wall cleats) provide a reliable hanging system. The 30" cleat (sold as a 2-pack) is rated to securely support up to 120 lb per pair (recommended). If you want extra stability, use two pairs — install one pair at the top and a second pair at the base. Measuring and positioning typically only takes a few minutes. Holes are punched 1" apart. We supply the needed screws and fasteners (not every hole will have a screw provided); you can add more screws to increase holding strength. There are more screw holes than required, so you do not need to fasten every hole — space the screws evenly across the cleat. Install two screws (longer ones) to fasten each cleat. Use the built-in insert when mounting to the cleat hanger and remove it before locking the mating cleat. In most situations the only tools required are a drill and a screwdriver.
