Constructed from aircraft-grade aluminum for long-lasting performance, this Hotbar French cleat hanger works on slightly out-of-plumb walls and delivers secure mounting for a wide range of items. Often referred to as clips, hangers, or wall cleats, the design provides dependable support and longevity. Rated for 42" size pieces and a maximum of 200 lb when using one pair (recommended). For extra stability, use two pairs — one pair at the top and another at the bottom. The cleat includes punched mounting holes spaced 1" apart. We supply the necessary screws and fasteners, though not every hole will be filled by the included hardware; you can add additional screws if you want to increase the holding strength. There are more holes than required, so you do not need to screw every hole — distribute screws evenly across the cleat for best results. A built-in alignment insert is provided to aid installation; insert it while positioning the cleat and remove it before locking the mating cleat into place. Installation is straightforward — in most cases you only need a drill and a screwdriver. Follow standard mounting practices and use the recommended screws (long ones) when installing each cleat for secure attachment.
