This Snapshots of the Past Black L Wall Art print, sku-13243351832 (UPC 469619262924), measures 16" x 20". Its title is "You may break, you may shatter his name if you will; the administration will cling to him still." Snapshots of the Past reproduces historical maps, photos and prints restored from Library of Congress archives.

Founded in 2001, the company says it was the first to offer Library of Congress images as museum-quality fine-art reproduction prints. Its buyers include over 200 bookstores and other retailers, along with tens of thousands of internet customers. It was selected as a vendor for the White House redecoration project in 2008.

Lithography, invented in 1796, enabled inexpensive mass production of poster prints. The Library of Congress began its American Memory pilot project in 1989. That project laid the foundation for the National Digital Library Program, which began in 1995 and digitizes selected collections emphasizing the complex history of American cultural heritage.

The reproductions use fine-art and archival paper from respected brands. Prints made with archival paper and pigmented inks can last a lifetime and be passed down through generations. The company's designs include old Halloween, Mother's Day and Valentine's Day posters and early aerial views of Manhattan, Boston, Chicago and San Francisco.

They can be displayed at home, in a study or at work, or given as gifts.
