This 16 x 20 historic print depicts White House Landing, Va., headquarters of the U.S. Christian Commission. It is Snapshots of the Past Wall Art, listed in Black and size L, with UPC 465459105865 and SKU sku-13227167915. The company reproduces historical maps, photographs, and prints from Library of Congress archives on fine art and archival paper, using pigmented inks.

Founded in 2001, it was the first company to offer Library of Congress images as museum-quality fine-art reproduction prints. Its buyers include over 200 bookstores and other retailers, along with tens of thousands of internet customers. It was selected as a vendor for the White House redecoration project of 2008. Lithography, invented in 1796, made inexpensive mass production of prints possible.

The Library of Congress launched its American Memory pilot project in 1989; that project laid the foundation for the National Digital Library Program, which began in 1995 and digitizes selected collections focused on American cultural heritage. The archival prints are intended to last a lifetime and be passed down through generations.

The range also includes old Halloween, Mother's Day, and Valentine's Day posters and early aerial views of Manhattan, Boston, Chicago, and San Francisco for display at home or work or as gifts.
