Snapshots of the Past Wall Art Print L sku-13257370469

This Snapshots of the Past Wall Art print shows V.P. Marshall and draft capsules. It measures 16" x 20" and is listed in Black, size L. The brand reproduces historical maps, photos and prints restored from Library of Congress archives. Founded in 2001, Snapshots of the Past was the first company to offer Library of Congress images as museum-quality fine-art reproduction prints.

Its buyers include over 200 bookstores and other retailers and tens of thousands of online customers. It was selected as a vendor for the White House redecoration project of 2008. Lithography, invented in 1796, helped make inexpensive mass-produced poster prints possible.

In 1989, the Library of Congress launched the American Memory pilot project, which laid the foundation for the National Digital Library Program begun in 1995. That program digitizes selected Library collections focused on the complexity of American cultural heritage. These reproduction prints use fine-art archival paper and pigmented inks intended to last for generations.

The brand also offers vintage holiday posters and early aerial views of Manhattan, Boston, Chicago and San Francisco as decor or gifts. SKU: sku-13257370469; UPC: 466113987261.
