Snapshots of the Past Wall Art (sku-13286811226) is a Black, size L reproduction print, 16" x 20", depicting the Queen receiving the sacrament at her coronation after a painting by Charles Robert Leslie, R.A. UPC: 466686264677. The company restores historical maps, photos and prints from the Library of Congress archives for home decor.

Founded in 2001, it was the first company to offer Library of Congress images as museum-quality fine-art reproduction prints. Its buyers include over 200 bookstores and other retailers, along with tens of thousands of internet customers. It was selected as a vendor for the 2008 White House redecoration project. Lithography, invented in 1796, helped make inexpensive mass-produced prints possible.

In 1989, the Library of Congress began its American Memory pilot project, which laid the foundation for the National Digital Library Program launched in 1995. The program digitizes selected Library collections focused on the complexity of American cultural history. These reproductions use respected fine-art and archival paper brands.

Prints made with archival paper and pigmented inks can last a lifetime and be passed down through generations. The collection includes old Halloween, Mother's Day and Valentine's Day posters and early aerial views of Manhattan, Boston, Chicago and San Francisco. The retro prints can be displayed at home, in a study or at work, or given as gifts.
