Snapshots of the Past Wall Art, sku-13291510925, is a Black, size L reproduction print titled "The magnificent O'Connell funeral car: passing the park in New-York City, on Wednesday, Sept. 22nd 1847." It measures 16" x 20" and uses archival paper and pigmented inks. UPC: 463638338059. The company restores historical images from the Library of Congress archives for home decor.

Founded in 2001, it says it was the first company to offer Library of Congress images as fine-art reproduction prints. Its buyers have included over 200 bookstores and other retailers, as well as tens of thousands of internet customers. It was selected as a vendor for a White House redecoration project in 2008. Lithography, invented in 1796, made inexpensive mass production of prints possible.

The Library of Congress began its American Memory pilot project in 1989; that project laid the foundation for the National Digital Library Program, which began in 1995 and digitizes selected collections on American cultural history. The seller also suggests displaying its historical posters at home or work, or giving them as gifts.
