Snapshots of the Past Black Wall Art print, size L, sku-13276552277, UPC 466329197133, is a 16" x 20" reproduction titled The heart of Juliet Jones. Its caption reads, "Fortunately, a cancelled appointment enabled me to make time for you, my dear." The company restores historical maps, photographs and prints from Library of Congress archives for home decor.

Founded in 2001, it says it was the first to offer Library of Congress images as fine-art reproduction prints. Its buyers include over 200 bookstores and other retailers, along with tens of thousands of online customers. It was selected as a vendor for the White House redecoration project of 2008. Lithography was invented in 1796 and enabled inexpensive mass production of posters.

The Library of Congress began its American Memory pilot in 1989; it laid the groundwork for the National Digital Library Program, which began in 1995 and digitizes selected collections concerning American cultural history. The company's reproductions use fine-art archival paper and pigmented inks intended to last for generations.

Its range includes old Halloween, Mother's Day and Valentine's Day posters and early aerial views of Manhattan, Boston, Chicago and San Francisco, for display at home or work or as gifts.
