Snapshots of the Past Wall Art Print L sku-13263023470

Snapshots of the Past Wall Art in Black, size L (sku-13263023470, UPC 465853669819), depicts Taft and Hughes at McCormick's funeral. The print is dated 2/26/25 and measures 16" x 20". The company, founded in 2001, says it was the first to offer Library of Congress images as fine-art reproduction prints.

Its buyers have included over 200 bookstores and other retailers, along with tens of thousands of online customers. It was selected as a vendor for the White House redecoration project in 2008. The company reproduces historical maps, photos and prints restored from Library of Congress archives, using archival paper and pigmented inks intended to last for generations.

Lithography, invented in 1796, made inexpensive mass production of prints possible. The Library of Congress began its American Memory pilot project in 1989; that project laid the foundation for the National Digital Library Program, which began in 1995 and digitizes selected collections about American cultural history.

The company's range includes old Halloween, Mother's Day and Valentine's Day posters and early aerial views of Manhattan, Boston, Chicago and San Francisco for display at home or work, or as gifts.
