This Snapshots of the Past Wall Art print shows a historic view of Stockton Street in San Francisco, California. It measures 16" x 20"; the listing records size L, color Black, UPC 463673977008, and sku-13301365869. The company, founded in 2001, says it was the first to offer Library of Congress images as fine-art reproduction prints.

Its buyers have included over 200 bookstores and other retailers, along with tens of thousands of online customers; it was selected as a vendor for the White House redecoration project in 2008. The reproductions are restored from Library of Congress archives and printed on archival paper with pigmented inks.

The listing also discusses lithography, invented in 1796, and the Library of Congress American Memory pilot project of 1989, which laid the groundwork for the National Digital Library Program begun in 1995. That program digitizes selected collections concerning American cultural history.

The source suggests displaying historical maps, photographs, holiday posters, and early aerial city views at home, at work, or as gifts.
