Snapshots of the Past Wall Art in Black, size L, SKU sku-13636913817, UPC 468685979989, is a 16" x 20" reproduction of a Washington, D.C., Social Security Board image dated Nov. 12. Its title mentions the appointments of Mary M. Dewson and George E. Bigge.

The company restores historical maps, photographs and prints from Library of Congress archives, using archival paper and pigmented inks intended to last for generations. Founded in 2001, it says it was the first company to offer Library of Congress images as fine-art reproduction prints.

Its buyers include over 200 bookstores and other retailers, as well as tens of thousands of online customers; it was selected as a vendor for the White House redecoration project in 2008. The company's background text notes that lithography was invented in 1796, that the Library of Congress began its American Memory pilot in 1989, and that the National Digital Library Program began in 1995 to digitize selected collections on American cultural history.

Its historical reproductions also include holiday posters and early aerial views of Manhattan, Boston, Chicago and San Francisco for display at home or work, or as gifts.
