Snapshots of the Past Wall Art, sku-13247716668, is a Black, size L reproduction print of the Second American Theater in Mobile, Mobile County, AL. The print measures 16 x 20. UPC: 462728550104. The company reproduces historical maps, photographs and prints restored from Library of Congress archives, using archival paper and pigmented inks intended to last for generations.

Founded in 2001, it says it was the first company to offer Library of Congress images as museum-quality fine-art reproductions. Its buyers include over 200 bookstores and other retailers, along with tens of thousands of internet customers. It was selected as a vendor for the White House redecoration project of 2008.

The source also notes that lithography, invented in 1796, made inexpensive mass-produced prints possible. A Library of Congress pilot project called American Memory began in 1989 and laid the foundation for the National Digital Library Program, which began in 1995 to digitize selected collections about American cultural heritage.

The company's range includes old holiday posters and early aerial views of Manhattan, Boston, Chicago and San Francisco for display at home or work, or as gifts.
