Snapshots of the Past ROBBINS Wall Art L sku-13235259509

Snapshots of the Past offers ROBBINS, R.S. DRAFT DRAWING BOWL as a 16" x 20" reproduction print in Black Wall Art, size L. The company restores historical maps, photos and prints from Library of Congress archives for home decor and uses fine-art and archival paper; prints made with archival paper and pigmented inks are described as lasting for generations.

Founded in 2001, it says it was the first company to offer Library of Congress images as fine-art reproduction prints, has sold through over 200 bookstores and other retailers as well as to tens of thousands of online customers, and was selected as a vendor for a White House redecoration project in 2008. Lithography was invented in 1796.

A Library of Congress pilot project called American Memory began in 1989 and laid the groundwork for the National Digital Library Program, which began in 1995 to digitize selected collections about American cultural heritage.

The range also includes old Halloween, Mother's Day and Valentine's Day posters and early aerial views of Manhattan, Boston, Chicago and San Francisco for display at home or work or as gifts. UPC 469680432660; sku-13235259509.
