Snapshots of the Past Rana Wall Art is a Black, size L reproduction print measuring 16 x 20 inches. SKU sku-13248503892; UPC 462962078419. The company restores historical maps, photographs and prints from the Library of Congress archives for home decor. Founded in 2001, it was the first company to offer Library of Congress images as museum-quality fine-art reproduction prints.

Its buyers include over 200 bookstores and other retailers, along with tens of thousands of internet customers. It was selected as a vendor for the White House redecoration project in 2008. Lithography, invented in 1796, helped make poster prints inexpensive to produce in large quantities.

The Library of Congress began its American Memory pilot project in 1989; that project laid the foundation for the National Digital Library Program, which began in 1995 and digitizes selected collections concerning American cultural history. The prints use fine-art archival paper and pigmented inks intended to last for generations.

The collection includes holiday posters and early aerial views of Manhattan, Boston, Chicago and San Francisco for display at home or work or for giving as gifts.
