Snapshots of the Past Wall Art, sku-13635008088, UPC 468713300112, is a Black, size L historic print measuring 16" x 20". It depicts President Coolidge inspecting equipment and navigation instruments in General Mitchell's airplane as Airplane Inspector Harry C. Short explains them. The company makes reproductions from Library of Congress archival images using archival paper and pigmented inks.

Founded in 2001, it says it was the first to offer those images as fine-art reproduction prints, has supplied over 200 bookstores and other retailers as well as tens of thousands of online customers, and was selected for a White House redecoration project in 2008. Lithography was invented in 1796.

The Library of Congress began its American Memory pilot in 1989; the National Digital Library Program began in 1995 to digitize selected collections focused on American cultural history. The range includes historical maps, photos, posters and early aerial city views.
