Snapshots of the Past Black L Wall Art sku-13234900861

This Black, size L Wall Art print from Snapshots of the Past depicts the Post Office and Pulaski Court House in Little Rock, Arkansas, at 16" x 20". The company makes reproductions of historical maps, photographs and prints restored from Library of Congress archives. Founded in 2001, it was the first company to offer Library of Congress images as fine-art reproduction prints.

Its buyers include over 200 bookstores and other retailers, as well as tens of thousands of internet customers. It was selected as a vendor for the White House redecoration project in 2008. Lithography, developed in 1796, made inexpensive mass-produced prints possible.

In 1989, the Library of Congress began its American Memory pilot project, which laid the groundwork for the National Digital Library Program launched in 1995. That program digitizes selected collections on American cultural history. The prints use archival paper and pigmented inks and can be kept for generations.

Other subjects include holiday posters and early aerial views of Manhattan, Boston, Chicago and San Francisco. SKU: sku-13234900861. UPC: 468336695985.
