Snapshots of the Past L Wall Art Print sku-13282856751

Snapshots of the Past sku-13282856751 is a Black, size L Wall Art reproduction titled Odd fellow, measuring 16" x 20". The company restores historical maps, photos and prints from Library of Congress archives for home decor. Founded in 2001, it says it was the first to offer Library of Congress images as museum-quality fine-art reproduction prints.

Its buyers include over 200 bookstores and other retailers, along with tens of thousands of internet customers. It was selected as a vendor for the White House redecoration project of 2008. Lithography, invented in 1796, enabled inexpensive mass production of prints.

The Library of Congress launched its American Memory pilot in 1989; it laid the foundation for the National Digital Library Program, which began in 1995 and digitizes selected collections focused on the complexity of American cultural heritage. These reproductions use archival fine-art paper and pigmented inks intended to last for generations.

The range includes old Halloween, Mother's Day and Valentine's Day posters and early aerial views of Manhattan, Boston, Chicago and San Francisco, for display at home, in a study or at work, or as gifts. UPC: 464877692148.
