Its customers include over 200 bookstores and other retailers, along with tens of thousands of Internet buyers. It was selected as a vendor for the White House redecoration project of 2008. Lithography was invented in 1796. In 1989, the Library of Congress began its American Memory pilot project, which laid the foundation for the National Digital Library Program launched in 1995.

That program digitizes selected collections focused on the complexity of American cultural history. The company's historical maps, photos and prints are restored from Library of Congress archives and reproduced on fine-art and archival paper. Prints made with archival paper and pigmented inks are intended to last a lifetime and be passed down.

Its range also includes old holiday posters and early aerial views of Manhattan, Boston, Chicago and San Francisco for display at home or work or to give as gifts.
