Snapshots of the Past Wall Art Print L sku-13298012515

This Snapshots of the Past Wall Art print shows Mrs. M. at the time of her marriage in 1884. The Black print is size L and measures 16" x 20". Snapshots of the Past reproduces historical maps, photos and prints restored from Library of Congress archives. Founded in 2001, the company was the first to offer Library of Congress images as fine-art reproduction prints.

Its buyers include over 200 bookstores and other retailers, along with tens of thousands of online customers. It was selected as a vendor for the 2008 White House redecoration project. Lithography, invented in 1796, helped make mass-produced prints inexpensive.

The Library of Congress began its American Memory pilot project in 1989; the National Digital Library Program began in 1995 and digitizes selected collections concerning American cultural heritage. The reproduction uses fine-art and archival paper; prints made with archival paper and pigmented inks can last for generations.

The range also includes old holiday posters and early aerial views of Manhattan, Boston, Chicago and San Francisco for display at home or work or as gifts. SKU: sku-13298012515. UPC: 467550763487.
