Snapshots of the Past Wall Art, Black, size L, sku-13238416702, UPC 464032564952. This 16 x 20 reproduction shows Mrs. Calvin Coolidge standing, facing front and holding her pet raccoon. The company reproduces historical maps, photographs and prints restored from Library of Congress archives, using fine-art and archival papers with pigmented inks.

Founded in 2001, it was the first company to offer Library of Congress images as fine-art reproduction prints. Its buyers have included over 200 bookstores and other retailers, along with tens of thousands of online customers. It was selected as a vendor for the White House redecoration project in 2008. Lithography, invented in 1796, made inexpensive mass-produced prints possible.

The Library of Congress began its American Memory pilot project in 1989; that project laid the foundation for the National Digital Library Program, which began in 1995 and digitizes selected collections about American cultural heritage.

The company's other reproductions include holiday posters and early aerial views of Manhattan, Boston, Chicago and San Francisco for display at home or work or as gifts.
