Snapshots of the Past L Wall Art Print sku-13245808403

Snapshots of the Past offers this Black, size L Wall Art print titled Making parrallels [sic], measuring 16 x 20 inches. Its historical prints reproduce material from the Library of Congress archives. Founded in 2001, the company was the first to offer Library of Congress images as fine-art reproduction prints.

Its buyers have included over 200 bookstores and other retailers, along with tens of thousands of online customers. It was selected as a vendor for the 2008 White House redecoration project. Lithography, invented in 1796, enabled inexpensive mass production of prints.

The Library of Congress began its American Memory pilot project in 1989; that project laid the foundation for the National Digital Library Program, which began in 1995 and digitizes selected collections related to American cultural heritage. The reproductions use fine-art and archival paper, and prints made with archival paper and pigmented inks are intended to last for generations.

The range includes holiday posters and early aerial views of Manhattan, Boston, Chicago and San Francisco for display or gifts. SKU sku-13245808403; UPC 461522533450.
