Founded in 2001, it says it was the first company to offer Library of Congress images as fine-art reproduction prints; its buyers include over 200 bookstores and other retailers, along with tens of thousands of internet customers. It was selected as a vendor for the White House redecoration project of 2008.

The listing also notes the invention of lithography in 1796 and the Library of Congress American Memory pilot in 1989, which laid the foundation for the National Digital Library Program begun in 1995. That program digitizes selected collections concerning American cultural history.

The company's range includes historical maps, photos and prints, including old holiday posters and early aerial city views.
