Snapshots of the Past Wall Art L Print sku-13243651969

Snapshots of the Past Wall Art includes this Black, size L reproduction of Domenico Amici's "Interno del Pantheon" at 16" x 20". The company, founded in 2001, restores historical maps, photos and prints from Library of Congress archives and was the first to offer its images as fine-art reproduction prints.

Its buyers include over 200 bookstores and other retailers, along with tens of thousands of online customers. It was selected as a vendor for the White House redecoration project of 2008. Lithography, invented in 1796, enabled inexpensive mass production of prints.

The Library of Congress began its American Memory pilot in 1989; that work laid the foundation for the National Digital Library Program, which began in 1995 to digitize selected collections concerning American cultural history. The reproductions use archival paper and pigmented inks intended to last for generations.

The company's range includes historical posters for Halloween, Mother's Day and Valentine's Day, as well as early aerial views of Manhattan, Boston, Chicago and San Francisco. SKU: sku-13243651969. UPC: 468834611654.
