This Black, size L Wall Art print from Snapshots of the Past shows the House of George S. Pratt with a garden in the foreground, in Glen Cove, Long Island, New York. The historic image is reproduced at 16" x 20" from material restored from the Library of Congress archives.

The company's reproductions include historical maps, photographs and prints, made with archival paper and pigmented inks for long-term display. Founded in 2001, Snapshots of the Past was the first company to offer Library of Congress images as fine-art reproduction prints. Its buyers include over 200 bookstores and other retailers, along with tens of thousands of internet customers.

The company was selected as a vendor for the White House redecoration project in 2008. Lithography, invented in 1796, made inexpensive mass production of posters possible. The Library of Congress launched its American Memory pilot in 1989; it laid the foundation for the National Digital Library Program, which began in 1995 and digitizes selected collections focused on American cultural heritage.

The brand also offers retro posters for display or gifts, including holiday designs and early aerial views of cities. SKU: sku-13291460826. UPC: 468442196529.
