The company reproduces historical maps, photographs and prints from Library of Congress archives using archival paper and pigmented inks. Founded in 2001, it says it was the first company to offer Library of Congress images as fine-art reproductions, has supplied over 200 bookstores and other retailers as well as tens of thousands of online customers, and was selected as a vendor for the White House redecoration project in 2008.

Lithography was invented in 1796. A Library of Congress pilot project called American Memory began in 1989 and laid the groundwork for the National Digital Library Program, which began in 1995 to digitize selected collections focused on American cultural heritage.

The company's wider print range includes old Halloween, Mother's Day and Valentine's Day posters and early aerial views of Manhattan, Boston, Chicago and San Francisco.
