Snapshots of the Past Wall Art L Print sku-13299720408

This Snapshots of the Past Wall Art is a Black, size L reproduction print of a full-length portrait of Helena Rubinstein standing and facing left in the dining room of her New York City apartment. It measures 16" x 20". The company restores historical maps, photos, and prints from Library of Congress archives and makes reproductions using archival paper and pigmented inks.

Founded in 2001, it was the first company to offer Library of Congress images as museum-quality fine-art reproduction prints. Its buyers include over 200 bookstores and other retailers, along with tens of thousands of Internet customers. It was selected as a vendor for the White House redecoration project in 2008. Lithography, invented in 1796, enabled inexpensive mass production of prints.

The Library of Congress began its American Memory pilot project in 1989; the National Digital Library Program began in 1995 to digitize selected collections concerning American cultural heritage. The company's range also includes old holiday posters and early aerial views of cities, offered as home, study, or workplace decor and as gifts. UPC: 464225095607. SKU: sku-13299720408.
