The company reproduces historical maps, photos and prints from Library of Congress archives on fine art and archival paper.

Founded in 2001, it was the first company to offer Library of Congress images as museum-quality fine art reproduction prints. Its buyers have included over 200 bookstores and other retailers, tens of thousands of internet customers, and the White House redecoration project of 2008. Lithography, invented in 1796, made inexpensive mass production of prints possible.

The Library of Congress began its American Memory pilot project in 1989; it laid the groundwork for the National Digital Library Program, which began in 1995 and digitizes selected collections focused on American cultural history. The prints use pigmented inks and archival paper.

The collection includes holiday posters and early aerial views of Manhattan, Boston, Chicago and San Francisco, intended for display at home or work or as gifts.
