Snapshots of the Past Wall Art showing the children of President James A. Garfield is a 16 x 20 historic print. It is listed in Black, size L, under SKU sku-13223423697 and UPC 464588738852. The company makes reproductions of historical maps, photographs and prints from Library of Congress archives using archival paper and pigmented inks.

It says the prints can last a lifetime and be passed down through generations. Founded in 2001, Snapshots of the Past says it was the first company to offer Library of Congress images as fine-art reproduction prints. Its buyers have included over 200 bookstores and other retailers, as well as tens of thousands of internet customers.

It was selected as a vendor for a White House redecoration project in 2008. Lithography was invented in 1796 and helped make inexpensive, mass-produced prints possible. The Library of Congress began its American Memory pilot project in 1989; it laid the groundwork for the National Digital Library Program, which began in 1995 to digitize selected collections concerning American cultural heritage.

The company's range includes old holiday posters and early aerial views of Manhattan, Boston, Chicago and San Francisco.
