Snapshots of the Past was founded in 2001 and says it was the first company to offer Library of Congress images as fine-art reproduction prints. Its buyers include over 200 bookstores and other retailers, as well as tens of thousands of online customers. The company was selected as a vendor for the White House redecoration project in 2008.

Its prints use fine-art and archival paper and pigmented inks. The company's background notes that lithography was invented in 1796 and that the Library of Congress began its American Memory pilot in 1989. That project laid the groundwork for the National Digital Library Program, which began in 1995 to digitize selected collections on American cultural history.

The range also includes old holiday posters and early aerial views of cities. This item is in Posters. SKU: sku-13256256613. UPC: 466867319011.
