Snapshots of the Past Wall Art, sku-13643806764, UPC 466113991183. This Black, size L historic print is listed at 16 x 20 inches. Its caption describes Guard Saffel showing a visitor the way to the G-Men exhibit rooms and their trophies at headquarters in Washington, D.C., on Aug 6.

The company reproduces historical maps, photos and prints restored from Library of Congress archives on archival paper with pigmented inks. Founded in 2001, it says it was the first to offer Library of Congress images as fine-art reproduction prints. Its buyers have included over 200 bookstores and other retailers, along with tens of thousands of online customers.

It was selected as a vendor for a White House redecoration project in 2008. Lithography, invented in 1796, made inexpensive mass-produced prints possible. The Library of Congress began its American Memory pilot in 1989; that project laid the foundation for the National Digital Library Program, which began in 1995 and digitizes selected collections concerning American cultural heritage.

The listing also suggests historic Halloween, Mother's Day and Valentine's Day posters and early aerial views of Manhattan, Boston, Chicago and San Francisco as decor or gifts.
