The company reproduces historical maps, photographs and prints from Library of Congress archives on fine-art and archival papers using pigmented inks, which the listing says can last for generations. Founded in 2001, it says it was the first company to offer Library of Congress images as fine-art reproduction prints.

Its buyers include over 200 bookstores and other retailers, as well as tens of thousands of internet customers. It was selected as a vendor for the White House redecoration project of 2008. The listing also describes lithography, invented in 1796, as a development that made inexpensive mass-produced prints possible.

A 1989 Library of Congress pilot project called American Memory laid the foundation for the National Digital Library Program, which began in 1995 and digitizes selected collections concerning American cultural history. The company's other reproductions include old Halloween, Mother's Day and Valentine's Day posters and early aerial views of Manhattan, Boston, Chicago and San Francisco.

The listing suggests the prints for homes, studies, workplaces and gifts.
