This Snapshots of the Past Wall Art print of FRANKENFIELD, H.C. PROFESSOR measures 16" x 20". The Black, size L reproduction is part of a range of historical maps, photos and prints restored from Library of Congress archives. Snapshots of the Past was founded in 2001 and was the first company to offer Library of Congress images as museum-quality fine-art reproductions.

Its buyers include over 200 bookstores and other retailers, along with tens of thousands of online customers. The company was selected as a vendor for the White House redecoration project of 2008. Lithography, invented in 1796, helped make mass-produced prints inexpensive.

The Library of Congress began its American Memory pilot project in 1989; it laid the foundation for the National Digital Library Program, which began in 1995 and digitizes selected collections focused on American cultural history. The company's reproductions use fine-art and archival paper; prints made with archival paper and pigmented inks are intended to last for generations.

Its range includes old Halloween, Mother's Day and Valentine's Day posters and early aerial views of Manhattan, Boston, Chicago and San Francisco for display or gifts. SKU sku-13244652324; UPC 465697491676.
