The company restores images from Library of Congress archives and produces prints with archival paper and pigmented inks.

Founded in 2001, it says it was the first to offer Library of Congress images as fine-art reproduction prints. Its buyers include over 200 bookstores and other retailers, along with tens of thousands of online customers. It was selected as a vendor for a White House redecoration project in 2008.

The company's background information notes that lithography was invented in 1796; the Library of Congress launched its American Memory pilot in 1989, and the National Digital Library Program began in 1995. Its print range includes historical maps, photographs and posters, including holiday posters and early aerial views of cities.
