The company restores historical maps, photos and prints from Library of Congress archives, printing reproductions on archival paper with pigmented inks.

Founded in 2001, it was the first company to offer Library of Congress images as fine-art reproduction prints. Lithography was invented in 1796; the Library of Congress began its American Memory pilot in 1989, laying the groundwork for the National Digital Library Program, which began in 1995 to digitize selected collections on American cultural history.

The company's retro prints also include holiday posters and early aerial views of Manhattan, Boston, Chicago and San Francisco, intended for display at home or work or as gifts.
