This Black, size L print is SKU sku-13283056437, UPC 462758134626; the source title gives its dimensions as 16" x 20". The company makes reproductions of historical maps, photographs and prints restored from Library of Congress archives.

Founded in 2001, it says it was the first to offer Library of Congress images as museum-quality fine-art reproductions. Its buyers have included over 200 bookstores and other retailers and tens of thousands of online customers. It was selected as a vendor for the White House redecoration project in 2008. Lithography, invented in 1796, helped make inexpensive mass-produced prints possible.

The Library of Congress began its American Memory pilot in 1989; that project laid the groundwork for the National Digital Library Program, which began in 1995 and digitizes selected collections concerning American cultural heritage. The reproductions use fine-art archival paper and pigmented inks intended to last for generations.

The range also includes old holiday posters and early aerial views of Manhattan, Boston, Chicago and San Francisco for display at home or work, or as gifts.
