It was selected as a vendor for a White House redecoration project in 2008. The company also offers historical posters and early aerial views of cities for display or gifts. Lithography was invented in 1796. The Library of Congress began its American Memory pilot project in 1989; the National Digital Library Program followed in 1995 to digitize selected collections about American cultural history.
