Snapshots of the Past sku-13274809574 is Black, size L Wall Art, UPC 462955283912. This 16" x 20" historic print depicts descendants of the original Americans and early French settlers calling on their president at the White House.

The company reproduces historical maps, photos, and prints restored from Library of Congress archives, using archival paper and pigmented inks intended to last for generations. Founded in 2001, it was the first company to offer Library of Congress images as museum-quality fine-art reproduction prints.

Its customers include over 200 bookstores and other retailers, along with tens of thousands of Internet customers. It was selected as a vendor for the 2008 White House redecoration project. Lithography, invented in 1796, made inexpensive mass production of posters possible.

The Library of Congress began its American Memory pilot project in 1989; the National Digital Library Program followed in 1995 to digitize selected collections concerning American cultural heritage. The company's prints include old Halloween, Mother's Day, and Valentine's Day posters and early aerial views of Manhattan, Boston, Chicago, and San Francisco.

They can be displayed at home or at work or given as gifts.
